Hearty Multigrain Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Organic 11 Grain Blend Flour
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Dissolve yeast in warm water with honey and let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  • Add flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix until dough forms.
  • Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth, then cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  • Punch down, shape into a loaf, and place in a greased loaf pan.
  • Let rise 30 minutes, then bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30–35 minutes.

Multigrain Pancakes

Ingredients

  • In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  • Cook pancakes on a greased skillet until golden on both sides.
  • Serve warm with fruit or syrup.
